Tom Linden joins the Disaster Survival Network

We are very please to announce the latest addition to the DSN team, Tom Linden of theUK Preppers Radio Network. Tom was an N.C.O. instructor with the Royal Observer Corps for 12 years specializing in the Effects of Nuclear Weapons.

He was given exemption from the entry exam due to his level of experience and became a member of the Institute of Civil deference giving him the appellation M.I.C.D. He remained a member between 1987 and 1992.

For 4 years he was a North Yorkshire County Council Community Defense Adviser and helped to provide the countries first ever emergency survey of a town to provide an action plan for that community, that town was Harrogate.

Tom also ran his own survival school in North Yorkshire in the 80’s as well as a survival club for local kids. He is based in the UK and has his own show “UK Preppers Radio Network” with over 100,000 listeners. He produces his show weekly for U.S. broadcast on Friday’s at 8pm. You can Listen in here and we really suggest you do because he really does a great show. We are very proud to have Tom on board as part of our team. Tom is also an excellent writer and will be a frequent contributor to our blog sites and Disaster Survival Magazine. Tom authors The Complete Nuclear Survival Manual a wealth of information about the effects of nuclear war and radiation.
